If a child appears to be at serious risk of harm, staff/parents must take immediate action by reporting concerns to the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL). Where there is an immediate risk to the child's safety, emergency services (999) and/or children's social care must be contacted without delay. All concerns must be recorded accurately and handled in accordance with the Academy's safeguarding procedures.
