Elite Academy Fixture Programme

At NWA, we believe that true develop
ment happens when talented young players are challenged in the right environment. That’s why our Centre of Excellence players will have the opportunity to take part in our Elite Academy Fixture Programme — a series of friendly matches against leading local academy teams across the region.

These fixtures give our players the chance to experience the standards, intensity, and expectations of academy‑level football, helping them grow in confidence, decision‑making, and game understanding. For many, it’s the first step toward bridging the gap between grassroots and the professional game.

Competing Against Local Academy Teams
Our academy teams will travel to face a range of respected local academies, offering players exposure to different playing styles, coaching philosophies, and competitive challenges. These fixtures are designed to stretch, inspire, and accelerate development in a supportive, high‑performance environment.

Up to Two Fixtures Per Month
Centre of Excellence players will be selected to represent NWA in up to two friendly fixtures per month, ensuring regular, meaningful match experience without overloading young athletes. Each fixture is carefully planned to complement our weekly training structure, allowing players to apply what they’ve learned in real‑game situations.
